Vehicle Description
Big-block 4-speed! Fresh build! This 1969 Chevy Bel Air is a true sleeper, boasting Corvette performance in an unsuspecting package. Under the hood is a true 1969 high-output cast-iron 427 V8, wearing the casting number 3916321, complete with rectangle port heads with closed chambers (casting no. 3964291) most famously used on the 1969 454 LS6 Chevelle. That massive motor just underwent a complete rebuild, with less than 100 miles logged since the work was completed, and is now mated to a brand new Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission. At that time, it was also converted from the factory Flat Tappet cam to a roller cam. The car itself was sold new in Kentucky before spending most of its life in El Paso, Texas. Eventually it made its way to Colorado, where it fell under the ownership of a significant collector who performed the mechanical overhaul, and it is now available at Conquest Classic Cars!
