Vehicle Description
BARN FIND BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE! Check out this extremely rare 1955 Ford Crown Victoria, featuring the desirable "Skyliner" glass top. This Crown Vic is one of 1999 glass top cars produced, and may be one of the last in all-original condition. The car was discovered in Fort Collins, Colorado, remaining in the same family for almost 7 decades. It's believed that the Tropical Rose two-tone paint, interior, and all major mechanical components are original to the car - the Ford data plaque verifies the color code, interior specifications, and that this is a true glass top car. Extensive yet respectful work has been done by our award-winning team here at Conquest Classic Cars to get it back on the road while also maintaining as much originality as possible. The brakes have been fully rebuilt, brake lines were replaced, the fuel system has been flushed with a new tank and pump installed, the carburetor has been rebuilt, the paint has been professionally polished, and the car is sitting on brand new bias-ply white wall tires. The odometer displays 98,000 miles and is in working condition, so it is believed to be the accurate original mileage, as well. There are blemishes consistent with age, but overall, this is a show-stopping car that is ready to hit the road and attract attention anywhere it goes!
