Perched as one of the most iconic sports cars of the 1970's, the Datsun 240z paved the way for affordable Japanese performance imports. This 1972 looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, with only 72,000 original miles, finished in New Sight Orange over its original white interior. The vehicle is powered by a numbers-matching 2.4-liter inline-six engine, mated to the stock four-speed manual transmission and producing a factory-rated 151 horsepower. This Z has been a Colorado car its entire life, having been bought new at Central Datsun in Denver and remaining with the first owner ever since. One repaint was performed in 1985 by Dellenbach Motors, along with repairs to the wheel wells. Two Weber carburetors are installed, with the original carbs included in the sale, along with extensive documentation detailing other upgrades such as period-correct Abarth headers.
