Vehicle Description
Talk about road presence! Nothing can top this exceedingly rare 1950 Jaguar Mark V drophead coupe. A long-time California car, this big cat was only recently shipped to Colorado, and now resides at Conquest Classic Cars in Greeley. This specific example is finished in cream over red, and boasts many of the most desirable features available on these early Jags, such as the larger 3 1/2-liter straight-six engine. This overhead-valve was the last of the early Jaguar motors prior to the legendary DOHC XK six-cylinder's introduction. The 125-horsepower block is mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and to the best of our knowledge, all major components (engine, chassis, transmission, and body) are numbers matching, further enhancing the rarity of this classic British roadster. Out of a total production run of nearly 10,500 units for the Mk V, only ~500 LHD drophead coupes were manufactured. A Jaguar Trust heritage certificate for the car is on order, and it will be forwarded to the new owner upon purchase. For more information, please reach out to us at 970-573-5291
